Черкесская красота

Вот перед вами портрет черкесской красавицы «Купающаяся черкесская леди», которую нарисовал английский художник Джордж Бакстер (1804-1867), являвшийся фотографом Оскара Уайльда (1854-1900), что стало вдохновением великого поэта и писателя. Восхищенный красотой черкесской незнакомки Оскар Уайлд вслед за художником посвящает великолепную песнь:

I love your tremulous topaz eyes

That light with flame these midnight streets,

I love your body as it lies

Like amber on the silken sheets.

I love the honey coloured hair

That ripples to your ivory hips,

Blue vein that on your shoulder glows,

I love your pale pink nails which shine

Like petals pilfered from the rose.

Но в стихотворении подчеркивается физическая красота черкешенки, которая общеизвестна и была признана в Европе, и даже как рассказывала калбатони Русудан Джанашиа, черкесовед, профессор Тбилисского Государственного Университета, в британских энциклопедиях слово «черкес» является синонимом слов «красивый, красота». И, в принципе, ничего удивительного в этом нет, потому что на самом деле во Вселенной все женщины прекрасны и у каждой своеобразная красота.

Но интереснее и гораздо важнее духовная красота, когда человек возвышается из-за духовного состояния или какого-то красивого поступка, решения, цели, мысли, что более восхищает, чем внешняя красота. 

Для примера, персона Бадира Гъази, имя которой многим ни о чем не говорит и не указывает. Но был случай, когда после наступления планетарного масштаба эпидемии коронавируса у всех появились серьезные проблемы. Также, как и у нашего Черкесского Культурного Центра и мы совсем недавно обсуждали вопросы дальнейшего сотрудничества между ЧКЦ и американскими организациями того же профиля в Соединенных Штатах. Речь шла о финансировании нового черкесского проекта пропавших детей-аманат, среди которых большинство составляли этнические черкесы. И в нашей беседе мы искали выход, чтобы финансировать одного известного специалиста и заказать ему сотворение ценной работы из этой области, так как на сегодняшний день из всех во всем мире одни только финансовые проблемы, и мы никак не смогли определиться, к кому обратиться в такой сложный период мирового человечества. Без результатов закончился разговор с моим другом и партнером. Я повесил трубку. И тут самое главное. На второй же день, тот же близкий мне человек с утра пораньше звонит и как-то удовлетворительным тоном сообщает: «Мой младший брат, Мераб, ты не поверишь! Разговаривая вчера с тобой, я как раз был в гостях в черкесской семье и после нашего с тобой разговора меня критиковали, мол, почему ты дал несогласие в воплощении названного проекта. Я ответил: потому что у меня не было денег. Но в ответ мне сказали: «Как раз в этом ты не прав, у тебя есть деньги и часть этого финансирования - мои взносы, потому что этот проект лучше всех твоих проектов». И этот человек – госпожа Бадира Гъази, от которой никто никогда финансирования не ждал и не ожидал. И этим она открыла дорогу этому проекту. Она сказала, что предоставит свои сбережения.

А я сам не знал, что делать – радоваться, что появились хоть какие-то финансы или что мой разговор стал причиной того, что не совсем обеспеченный человек сделал такой благородный жест. 

Вот такая она духовная красота незнакомой черкешенки. И этот народ обязательно добьется своего и возродит свою родину…  Черкесию.

Circassian beauty

“Here is a portrait of the Circassian beauty “Bathing Circassian Lady”, which was painted by the English artist George Baxter (1804-1867), who was a photographer of  Oscar Wilde (1854-1900). The picture  was the inspiration of the great poet and writer. Admired by the beauty of the Circassian stranger, Oscar Wilde, following the artist, devotes a magnificent verse:

But the verse  emphasizes the physical beauty of the Circassian woman, which is well known and recognized in Europe. Moreover Rusudan Janashia, a circassologist, professor at Tbilisi State University,  says  that in the British encyclopedias, the word "Circassian" is synonymous with the words "beautiful, beauty." And, in principle, there is nothing surprising in this, because in reality in the Universe all women are beautiful and each has a peculiar beauty.

But more interesting and much more important is spiritual beauty, when a person is elevated due to a spiritual state or some beautiful act, decision, goal, thought, which is more admiring than external beauty.

For example, the character  of Badir Gazi, whose name  does not indicate to anything. But after the onset of coronavirus epidemic of the planetary scale everyone had serious problems as well as  Circassian Cultural Center. We recently discussed issues of further cooperation between CCC  and American organizations of the same profile in the United States. It was about financing a new Circassian project of missing Amanat children, most of whom were of ethnic Circassians. And in our conversation we were looking for a way out to finance one well-known specialist and order him/her to create valuable work in this sphere, since today over the world  there are only financial problems, and we could not decide who address to  in such difficult period of world mankind. The conversation with my friend and partner  ended without result. I hung up. And here the most important thing. On the second day, the same person  called me early in the morning and  said in a satisfactory tone: “My little brother, Merab, you will not believe it! Talking with you yesterday, I was  visiting a Circassian family, and after our conversation  they criticized me, saying why I disagreed with the implementation of this project. I replied: “Because I did not have money.” But in response they told me: “Just  you are wrong! You have money and part of this funding is my contributions, because this project is better than all your projects.” And this person is Madame Badira Gazi, from whom no one has ever expected funding. And by this she opened the way for this project. She said she would provide her savings.

And I  did not know what to do - to rejoice that at least some finances had appeared or that my conversation had caused the not-so-wealthy person to make such a noble gesture.

This is the spiritual beauty of an unknown Circassian woman. And this people will certainly achieve their goal  and revive their homeland ... Circassia.”
